Since I take it you are wanting a Jap-mobile... Your options vary pretty wide. The ones in bold are my personal favorites. If you have any questions on certain cars, why I like them so much, etc. Just ask, I have a lot of experience with Asian cars.

1. Mitsubishi Eclipse (GST or GSX only, also its FWD)
2. Nissan 180SX
3. Nissan 240SX Silvia
4. Toyota Corolla AE86
5. Toyota MK3 Supra
6. Toyota MR2 Turbo
7. Mazda RX-7
8. Mazda Miata MX-5

You really cant go wrong with a 240sx. parts are pretty cheap and easy to get.
The rx-7 is an awesome car. i really want one personally. a FC3s, or an FD3s. basically the older one and the newer ones

only downside is finding a good one used, since its a rotary some people dont know how to do some good maintenance on them. but if you have the money, MazdaTrix can basically build you a brand new one. it costs money but rotarys are one of my favs.

dont forget a Lexus sc300 or sc400, you dont see them as often as a 240 so its something to consider. you can easily swap a 2jz into it, aka supra engine.

but thats the good thing in loving to be a car enthusiast, pick the one you like and love, and build it from there. its your money and you should make it the way you want it =)
