| Hey guys i recently helped a friend pick up an Mk2 Jetta GLI 1.8 8v and im going to spend the next few weeks working on it. its in pretty rough shape but i was wondering if anyone would like to help? I would actually really appreciate it if you guys kept an eye out at the junkyard.. you know who you are  all kinds of parts are needed.. new hood, stock wheels maybe from an mk2? or 4x100 bolt pattern, maybe a cleaner dash from a junked car? etc,.. Help me out! cheers  | |

| Joel I can clean the dash for you and buff it and what not. Also, I am down to put some wrench time in. Given I can get rides to wherever the car is at, if its far. I LOVE MKIIs! | |

| oh i cleaned the dash. the dirt isnt the problem. all the cracks are the issue lol
im currently waiting on some parts to get in so i can start on it. car is currently in Eaglerock. i need to make some trips to the junkyard for some little things here and there.
know a good one with some vw's? | |

| im down.. anybody have access to a lift? or atleast close to me?
i dont want to go out to riverside just to use the lift when the car is in eaglerock..

| ok so im getting parts on thursday, hopefully i can install them all on thursday and friday. Distributor cap distributor rotor front brake pads front brake rotors new brake lines.. sorry not ss ATE racing blue brake fluid new spark plug wires new plugs oil oil filter new old drain bolt low temp thermostat thermostat cover oil pan gasket fuel filter air filter  i need a nice garage to work in.. anybody care to help me with that | |
