alright, so anybody got any heads up when buying one of these 95-99? like what i should stay away from, mileage etc. and if you see anything for a really good price throw it up here please. im looking to spend about 6k for one maybe a little more.

If you can definetly find one with the stock BMW M-Sport package. BMW Racing coilovers, BMW Racing intake, BMW racing brakes, and BMW racing wheels. Those packages usually come on M3's with S13 engines. You won't even need to upgrade anything performance wise, maybe just the exhaust, and some lightweight pulleys... Then you save 2 grand... and then... SUPACHARGA!
